We designed this prenatal formula for women who are thinking, trying, and when it's time. Nutritional requirements evolve throughout various life stages, and this is particularly true during pregnancy and postpartum periods. To maximize support, it is advisable to start supplementing even before conception when planning to become pregnant. Why is there no iron in the Liquid Prenatal & Postnatal Multivitamin?
When formulating our Liquid Multivitamin, we wanted to ensure the best combination of micronutrients for optimal absorption. It's important to consider micronutrient competition during formulation, and iron is known to interfere with the body's absorption of other vitamins and minerals if taken at the same time. Therefore, we decided to not include iron in our liquid multivitamins.

Can I take Mother’s Promise Prenatal & Postnatal Multivitamin with other supplements?
It's important to exercise caution when considering multiple prenatal products simultaneously, as it can potentially lead to over-supplementation of certain vitamins and minerals, which may be harmful during pregnancy. It's crucial to avoid exceeding the upper recommended limits for each nutrient. Consulting with your doctor is essential to determine the right combination of supplements tailored to your specific needs, as individual requirements may vary.
Our Liquid Prenatal & Postnatal Multivitamin does not contain Iron, a vital nutrient for a healthy pregnancy. To ensure you receive the recommended Iron intake, consider our Liquid Iron, which contains dosage instructions for the exact amount you need throughout pregnancy and lactating stages.
Additionally, this Liquid Prenatal & Postnatal Multivitamin does not include the Omega-3 fatty acid DHA, which is shown to be essential for healthy eye and brain development of growing babies. If your diet lacks sufficient Omega-3s, you might consider our Prenatal DHA product to supplement your Omega-3 intake and ensure you are getting enough of this important nutrient.
Always consult with your OB/GYN or physician to determine the correct dosing and whether these products are suitable for your unique situation. Please remember to discuss any new supplements with your healthcare professional, as they can provide guidance on what's best for you, your pregnancy, and your baby's well-being.
